This morning saw an excellent workshop on "Strengthening efforts to stop online piracy" organised by the Ministry of Economy & Tourism (MOET) in cooperation with Dubai Media City. The workshop was opened by His Encellency DR.ABDELRAHMAN ALMUAINI, Assistant Undersecretary of the MOET. Also, opening remarks were made by Mr. Majed Al Suwaidi, Senior VP of Dubai Media City and Javier Tebas Medrano, President of La Liga.

The workshop also featured a panel discussion led by our very own Rasha Al Ardah and representatives from MOET, TDRA and members of the private sector (Shahid, OSN, La Liga and Yango Play). The discussion featured some great statistics and insights on the Instablock initiative of MOET and their practical experience in the UAE.
