Once again, AIPPI GROUP UAE members look forward to attend the 13th Regional Intellectual Property Crime Conference in MENA held in Dubai on 20th and 21st of February.

The INTERPOL, Dubai Police HQ, Emirates Intellectual property EIPA and Investigators College (IP Crime) are offering this conference to public to discuss and embrace the efforts of the IP crime domain. The conference theme for this year will focus on exploring the future capabilities in the IP crime and open the horizons to deal with anticipated challenges.

AIPPI UAE Group continues its commitment and support to this conference by sponsoring it for the second year in row. AIPPI UAE Group will offer its attendees a roundtable session on AI and IP (Challenges and Opportunities) to be presented by its board members (Bassel El Turk, Munir Suboh and Nicole Giblin).

We expect to listen to many speakers who are attending this year conference from different backgrounds and countries. The interventions will cover various areas and speakers with attendees will share their latest experience, remarks and insights. Topics such as: hashtag#AI and hashtag#Metaverse, Data Analysis, future of hashtag#IP rights and AI are among many interesting topics that will be covered during the event. Also, many roundtables and workshop sessions will be held during the two days conference.

AIPPI UAE Group will organize a roundtable session on AI and IP (advantages and challenges) on February 20, 2024 between 2.45 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Also, the conference keynote speakers: H.E Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Al Obaidly, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Quality & Excellence, H.E Ahmed Mahboob Musabih Director General of Dubai Customs, H.E Maria Hanif Al Qassim (The UAE Ministry of Economy), H.E. Madan Oberoi (Executive Director at the Interpol) and H.E. Colonel Abdulaziz Obaidullah (Director of Internatioanl communications and regional support at the Interpol Department) will kick off the event with their welcoming speeches and giving their remarks tomorrow starting at 9:00 am at Versace Palazzo Hotel - Versace Dubai - Al Jaddaf - Waterfront - Dubai).
