In a first of its kind initiative by the Ministry Of Economy, UAE, EWA European Women's Association (EWA), GETVISION multi-family office and partnering with the DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) and NFINITY, a new Accelerator was launched to empower women and encourage startups with female founders in the tech sector; it is called the #EWA Accelerator. His Excellency Abdulla Alsaleh gave the keynote speech at the launch event held at the Almas Tower in DMCC on 4 March 2024 followed by speeches by Ms. Feryal Ahmadi, COO of DMCC, Ms Yulia Stark and Dr. Dariia Vasylieva, Co-Founders of the EWA Accelerator. AIPPI UAE Group signed a MOU with the EWA on World IP Day in 2023 and the cooperation has continued in many ways including with this initiative. The AIPPI GROUP UAE President Hoda Barakat sits on the Advisory Board of this new EWA Accelerator and gave a few words at the event as did another Advisory Board member Mr. Haytham Kaddoura.
