The Study Committee of the AIPPI GROUP UAE has commenced work on the Study Question for the 2025 World Congress Meetings.

This year, the team has chosen to contribute for the topic:

Preliminary Injunctions: Requirements for Compensating Damage Suffered by the Defendant

Given the provisional nature of Preliminary Injunctions (PIs) and their dependency on the outcome of the main litigation, this topic raises significant legal questions. Since PIs may ultimately be revoked or lapse for various reasons, AIPPI has identified this as a key issue for discussion and analysis by local groups, aiming to prepare a draft resolution to be reviewed and voted on during the World Congress.

The AIPPI GROUP UAE is looking forward to presenting its position on this critical matter.
