Under the umbrella of IP and sports, AIPPI GROUP UAE members had a great time this weekend at the IP Sport Day, organized by the Ministry of Economy & Tourism and the hashtag#IP sector at the MoE. 🏆⛹️‍♂️🏓🏀⚽️🥇🥈🥉

Under the theme “We respect Intellectual Property Rights just as we respect the rule of the game,” our group members enjoyed a day filled with joy, friendly competition, and entertaining matches.

The MoE team, led by H.E. Undersecretary Abdulla Alsaleh and Undersecretary Assistant for the IP Sector DR.ABDELRAHMAN ALMUAINI, along with their dedicated team, supported this initiative and brought smiles to everyone’s faces through their participation and encouragement.

Public happiness is a key priority for the UAE government, and the UAE Ministry of Economy, along with the IP team, continues to lead the way with meaningful initiatives that foster connection, innovation, and collaboration. This event was a fantastic opportunity to step outside office boundaries, set aside formalities, and come together as one team—officials and IP practitioners alike—bonding through sports, socializing, and great conversations. Events like these strengthen our community and remind us that collaboration goes beyond meetings and paperwork.

A special highlight was hearing Dr. Al Muaini’s words of encouragement to all participants, delivered in a truly traditional way: “This is your day, guys!”—with the promise of more to come.
